Fall Fun in Long Beach
When fall still feels like summer!
We love the fall, and love that in Long Beach we have special events stretching on and extend the season, bringing people into town to enjoy all the things that we support and enjoy being involved in.
Arts In The Plaza brings families into our main business district with stalls, crafts, food and music.
The Michelle O’Neill Foundation annual volleyball tournament was a blast last weekend. What a great team of people, or should we say an extended family. Find out more about their mission at their website.
The Long Beach Jazz Festival kicked off last night. Cybernet donated the first website to the jazz festival and has since redesigned it twice in 14 years of phenomenal music, ably assembled by Long Beach’s own Steve Adelson. Cybernet’s Peter Kuperschmid has been working with the library on their new sound system, and based on last night’s soundscape, he has succeeded beyond all expectations. Check out the schedule at the jazz fest website and do whatever you can to catch some of the acts this weekend.
We are always looking for ways to expand our busy summer season, so if you have any thoughts on how we can do that, let us know what events you would like to see in Long Beach.
Happy Musical Weekend!
